Account Help

  • Q How do I update my email or phone?
    A Open the sidebar and go to Manage Account.
  • Q Where can I set a default delivery address?
    A Go to Settings and save your address and notes. Don't forget to click the toggle to use the address for future orders
  • Q Where do I see my favorites and order history?
    A Use Favorites and My Orders in the sidebar.

Login & Password

  • Q How do I reset my password?
    A Use Forgot Password on the sign-in screen. Or navigate to Manage Account.
  • Q What is my username?
    A Your username is the email address you used to create your account.
  • Q I did not get the reset email.
    A Check spam and try again. If you are still having trouble, email admin@takeawaypv.com

Delivery

  • Q How do I place a delivery order?
    A Select Delivery from the top nagivation bar and add a valid address.
  • Q When do I see delivery time?
    A It updates after you add an address.
  • Q Where are fees and tips shown?
    A They appear in the cart during checkout before you place the order.

Pickup

  • Q How do I see pickup times?
    A It is visible when the Pickup option is selected in the top navigation bar. If the restaurant offers pickup as an option, the time will be listed on each restaurant card on the home page with a Pickup: label. On the individual restaurant page, it will be listed at the top.
  • Q What affects pickup time?
    A It depends on restaurant prep time.
  • Q Where is the pickup address?
    A The restaurant address is listed at the top of the individual restaurant page.
  • Q Why don't all restaurants offer pickup?
    A Not all restaurants have a dedicated space or staff for handling pickups

Orders & Tracking

  • Q Where can I see my past orders?
    A You can view your past orders on the My Orders page in the sidebar.
  • Q How do I track order status?
    A Status updates appear in your order list.
  • Q There is an issue with the items in my order.
    A Take a photo of the order showing the item that is wrong and contact the restaurant via using the phone number on their restaurant page.
  • Q How do I add notes to help the driver find me?
    A You can add delivery instructions during checkout in the Delivery Notes field—this is the best place to include directions, landmarks, gate codes, or anything that helps your driver find you faster.
    If you’re logged in, you can also save your delivery notes in your account settings. That way, they’ll automatically be included on all future orders and you won’t have to re-enter them each time.

Payments & Pricing

  • Q What payment methods can I use?
    A Methods vary by restaurant and show at checkout. Some restaurants only accept credit / debit cards while some only accept cash. Others accept both.
  • Q Where do I see totals, fees, and taxes?
    A They are shown in the cart during the checkout process before you place the order.
  • Q Can I add a tip?
    A Yes, if the restaurant has the feature turned on, you can leave a tip during the checkout process.
  • Q If I leave a tip during my checkout, who receives the money?
    A All tips left through the takeawaypv.com site during your checkout are given to the restaurant staff. If you want to tip your delivery driver, you can give your driver cash when your food is delivered.

  • Q How do I save a restaurant?
    A Tap the heart icon.
  • Q Where do I find favorites?
    A Open the Favorites page from the sidebar.
  • Q How do I spot deals?
    A Look for Top Offer badges.

Troubleshooting

  • Q The page is not updating.
    A Refresh the page and try again.
  • Q Delivery is not available.
    A Switch to Pickup if you do not have a delivery address.
  • Q Delivery estimates look off.
    A Clear and re-enter your address.
